Point-to-point service is the simplest thing we do: a chauffeured car collects you at one address and delivers you to another, with no hourly clock running in the background. It suits hotel-to-dinner rides, office-to-train-station runs, a late ride home across the river after a night out, and the one-way leg of a trip where you plan to stay put at the other end. Executive sedan transfers start at $130 and Cadillac Escalade ESV transfers start at $160. Airport runs use their own flat rates, listed below, and groups can book the same one-way format in a Sprinter van, stretch limousine or party bus.
How point-to-point pricing works
A point-to-point booking is priced per trip and per vehicle, not per passenger and not by a meter. Within New York City the executive sedan (Mercedes E-Class, Cadillac CT6, XT6 or Lyriq, up to 3 passengers) starts at $130 and the Cadillac Escalade ESV (up to 6 passengers) starts at $160. Those are floors: a longer ride, such as Upper Manhattan to southern Brooklyn or a crossing into New Jersey, is quoted higher, and the booking form shows the figure before you confirm.
Airport transfers are the one kind of point-to-point trip with a published flat rate for each airport. A sedan to LaGuardia is $150, to Newark Liberty or Teterboro $170, and to JFK $175. The Escalade runs $160 at LGA, $185 at EWR and $195 at JFK or TEB. Those airport rates include meet-and-greet, flight tracking and 60 minutes of complimentary wait after wheels-down.
Tolls are passed through at cost and gratuity of 18-20% is customary and not added automatically. There is no surge on Friday nights, holidays or New Year's Eve, which is the main reason people book a one-way car instead of gambling on an app at 1 AM outside a Meatpacking club.
When one-way beats hourly
Pick point-to-point when you know both addresses and do not need the car afterwards. Typical examples are a Midtown hotel to a dinner reservation in the West Village, Hudson Yards to a flight out of LaGuardia, Grand Central or Moynihan Train Hall to a meeting in Lower Manhattan, or a Williamsburg apartment to a wedding venue in Long Island City.
Pick hourly when the plan has several stops, when you want the chauffeur to hold at the curb while you are inside, or when the timing is loose. Hourly bookings carry a 3-hour minimum for the sedan and Escalade and include up to 6 pickup stops, so a dinner, a show and a nightcap usually costs less as one hourly window than as three separate transfers. For a party that starts together but ends in different boroughs, a common pattern is an hourly party bus or Sprinter for the night and a one-way sedan booked in advance for anyone heading out to Staten Island, Westchester or New Jersey at the end.
Routes we drive every week
Manhattan crosstown and uptown-downtown runs use the FDR Drive and the West Side Highway, which are usually faster than the avenues outside rush hour. Brooklyn trips go over the Brooklyn, Manhattan or Williamsburg bridges or through the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel, depending on where you are headed and how traffic looks that night.
Queens runs use the Queens-Midtown Tunnel, the Queensboro Bridge or the RFK Bridge, then the Long Island Expressway, Grand Central Parkway or BQE. Bronx and Westchester trips follow the Major Deegan, the Harlem River Drive or the Hutchinson River Parkway. New Jersey transfers to Hoboken, Jersey City or Newark go through the Lincoln or Holland tunnels, and northern New Jersey addresses near Teterboro usually cross the George Washington Bridge.
Staten Island is served from Manhattan via the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge, or from New Jersey via the Goethals and Bayonne bridges. Bridge and tunnel tolls appear on your receipt at cost.
Pickup logistics and what to expect
For home, office and hotel pickups the chauffeur waits at the address you give us; for large hotels and office towers, tell us which entrance you will use, because Midtown blocks with loading zones on one side and bus lanes on the other can make the difference between a smooth pickup and a lap around the block. For airport arrivals the chauffeur meets you inside the terminal, and at Teterboro at the FBO.
The day before a pre-booked ride you receive the chauffeur's name, contact details and vehicle details. If your plans change, date changes 30 or more days out are free, and the deposit and cancellation terms on our rates page apply to every booking.
Short-notice requests are possible: executive sedan and Escalade requests are often bookable within 2 hours, subject to availability. Child seats (infant, toddler and booster) are available at no charge with at least 24 hours notice.
Vehicle options for one-way transfers
Executive sedan: 1-3 passengers and 3 bags, from $130 per trip. The default for solo travelers, couples and business riders.
Cadillac Escalade ESV: 1-6 passengers and 6 bags, from $160 per trip. Better for families, anyone with skis or strollers, and small groups heading to the same dinner.

How to book your NYC point-to-point transfers rental
- Request an instant quote through online booking or email the reservations team from booking help.
- Confirm date, time, service window, vehicle choice, and pickup and drop-off addresses.
- Pay a 25% deposit to secure the vehicle.
- Final payment is charged automatically 14 days before the rental date.
- The day before, you'll receive the chauffeur's name, contact details, and vehicle details.
- Gratuity of 18-20% is customary and paid directly at end of service.
