Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Booking and confirmation
A booking is confirmed when a 25% deposit is received. Final payment is due 14 days before the rental date. Bookings made within 14 days require full payment at booking.
2. Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before the rental date. 50% refund for cancellations 15–29 days out. Within 14 days, no refund is issued, but the deposit is credited toward a rescheduled date within 12 months, subject to availability and any rate difference.
3. Overtime and extended service
If the rental extends past the reserved window, overtime is billed at 1.5x the base hourly rate in 30-minute increments. Overtime is paid in cash or charged to the card on file at end of service.
4. Gratuity
Gratuity of 18–20% of the base hourly total is customary and paid directly to the chauffeur at end of service. It is not automatically included in the booking invoice.
5. Tolls and fees
All tolls (bridge, tunnel, highway) are passed through at cost and added to the final invoice. No fuel surcharge. No “convenience” or “administrative” fees.
6. Alcohol and conduct
BYOB is permitted for passengers 21 years of age or older with valid government-issued photo ID. Chauffeurs verify ages at first pickup. Prom bookings are strictly no-alcohol regardless of passenger age; any alcohol on a prom booking is confiscated and parents are notified.
Illegal substances are prohibited in all vehicles. Violation results in immediate termination of service with no refund. Weapons of any kind are prohibited.
7. Damages
The client is responsible for damages to the vehicle caused by the client or group. Standard between-rental cleaning is included. Deep-clean damages (e.g., sickness, spilled wine on leather, torn upholstery) are billed at $300–$1,500 depending on severity. Damages exceeding standard rates are billed at actual repair cost.
8. Capacity limits
Each vehicle has a rated capacity that cannot be exceeded. A 20-passenger party bus carries a maximum of 20 passengers; a 30-passenger coach carries 30; etc. Additional passengers require an additional vehicle or upgrade to a larger vehicle, subject to availability.
9. Weather and unforeseen delays
Service continues through normal weather. In the event of a declared emergency (hurricane, blizzard) that renders service impossible, bookings are rescheduled without cancellation fee. Normal rain, snow, and traffic delays do not qualify for rescheduling.
10. Liability
NYC Party Bus Limo carries commercial livery insurance for every passenger in every vehicle. Maximum liability for personal belongings left in the vehicle is $500 per incident; clients are responsible for retrieving belongings at end of service.
11. Chauffeur authority
The chauffeur has final authority on matters of safety: route selection, speed, passenger behavior, and departure timing. The chauffeur may terminate service for safety reasons (intoxicated passenger behavior beyond reasonable limits, illegal activity, threats) without refund.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes are resolved in the courts of New York County.
